Inner Circle Rum Masterclass
Friday 10th of May
Cushdy - 279 Hindley Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000
Join us for a look into the history of the Inner Circle brand and it's connection to Australia's oldest distillery. You will get to sample the famous rum as well as some cocktails created just for this master class. Entry is free and open to general public.
The Inner Circle Rum range consists of three different products, Red Dot, Green Dot and the Black Dot. First produced by the Colonial Sugar Refinery only for its employees or the Inner Circle. The brand has been around for a long time though it shortly disappeared in the late 80s when CSR sold their rum distillery.
It was not until in 2000 that Stuart Gilbert acquired the rights to the brand and worked together with Malcolm Campbell, who had been responsible for the distillation of the rum from 1972 until the closing of the distillery in 1986, to recreate the rum.
