How are you planning to celebrate the New Year? I've considered spending the New Year with my old friend Jack and his various concoctions such as:
Lynchburg Lemonade
1 part Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey
1 part triple sec
1 part sour mix
Tennessee Tea
1 part Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey
1 part triple sec
1 part sour mix
2 parts Coke
and let us not forget about ye olde Jack & Coke.

While I won't be indulging in the finer side of alcoholism over the new year I can recommend this disarming cocktail:
Hurricane
- 30ml light rum
- 30ml dark rum
- 60ml passion fruit juice
- 30ml orange juice
- 15ml fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp simple syrup
- 1 tbsp grenadine
- Garnish: orange slice and cherry
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker, strain into a hurricane glass and garnish.
I've found the two Havana's work extremely well with this drink.
