World Whisky of the Year by the Whisky Bible 2009 was awarded to Ardbeg Uigeadail. This is the second year running that they have won the award. More details from bbcscotland

Great to see a sensible priced whisky getting this sort of recognition and well done to the Islay distillery for it's second award.

Ardbeg were taken over by Glenmorangie in 1997 and it looks like they are doing well under this new management.

Question is, do which do I buy me as a christmas present?
