Angostura has released for auction one of the most exclusive blends of rum in the world. With only twenty 500ml bottles available worldwide, Legacy by Angostura is expected to go for AUD$25,000 within the next few days at the online auction by Langton's in Australia.
Legacy by Angostura is the result of six years of hard work, passion and 50 years of combined experience between the Master Blenders. The blend consists of 7 of the distillerys most precious rums with the youngest of the rums in the blend being 17 years old.

The rums have been aged in once used 200 litre American Oak Bourbon casks and are 100% Trinidadian and come from a single distillery on one Island. Legacy by Angostura was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago where it will be made available in August.
The decanter, stopper and presentation box were designed by Asprey of London each of the packs taking more than 56 man hours to produce involving ten different master craftsman level trades. The auction by Langton's in Australia will close on July 13.
